The artist
Johann Rumpf (born April 7, 1950 in Vienna) is a contemporary Austrian artist.
His variety of artists includes the areas of painting, drawing, graphics (design, letterpress and intaglio printing as well as screen printing), artistic furniture, artificial lamps, numerous handicraft techniques and literature.
The works
Works by Johann Rumpf have been shown in numerous exhibitions in Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Frankfurt and New York. Many of his works are represented in private collections and in public collections in Vienna, for example in the Welt Museum, Wien Museum, in the Austrian Museum of Folklore and in the Thierry Barbier-Mueller Collection.
